This work discusses the body through wearable latex pieces. A bulk of the works are sculpted from the artists body. This is done in order to demonstrate the artists complicated feelings of form. This can replicate personal trauma of the breasts as experienced in a medical context. The work is then evolved when it is worn by another person in performance. The wearer will experience wearing the skin of trauma while the viewer is forced to confront their uncomfort. Other latex pieces are free formed of structures made of ribbon, handmade beads and twine. These works are more focused on the artists experience of sexuality. They meditate on themes of oppression such as female nudity and lace up corsetry. These works reference as well as romanticise the body.
